Avril Oenone trained in fashion & textiles at St Martins School of Art, London in the early seventies.

Over the years she has designed and made bridalwear, ballgowns, boned bodices, corsets and designer knitwear. In latter years, she made her first soft hat which led ultimately to the amazing hats and fascinators that she now focuses her talents on. There always was the passion for hats and in 2003 she took over an existing retail outlet in Dee Street, Aberdeen, which 18 months later was simply no longer big enough to house the diverse array of beautiful headwear that you will now find at 64, Rosemount Viaduct, Aberdeen.
